The signed Health Guarantee and Sales Agreement governs each puppy sale. This page shares its key terms for prospective families.
Each puppy is guaranteed to be in good health to the best of our knowledge at the time of purchase, with its first vaccinations and deworming started. Buyers are responsible for completing boosters and repeat deworming, and should have their puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase or pick-up.
Buyers agree to provide a proper diet, regular veterinary care, vaccinations, deworming, exercise, grooming, appropriate shelter, and a suitable fenced area.
The agreement provides a one-year health guarantee when a puppy is found to have a life-threatening congenital defect affecting major organs that prevents the puppy from acting as a pet or companion.
A qualifying condition must be documented in a signed written statement from the buyer's veterinarian. In the event of death, an autopsy is required to establish cause. The finding must also be confirmed by Carriage Court's veterinarian.
For a qualifying claim, the remedy is a replacement puppy of equal value as soon as one is available. The agreement may require return of the original puppy in good, clean condition, unless the seller states otherwise. This remedy is not a refund.
A $500 non-refundable deposit holds a puppy until the agreed pick-up day. The remaining balance is due at pick-up under the signed agreement.
Outside the written health guarantee, the puppy is sold in as-is condition. Please review the complete agreement before placing a deposit; the signed agreement controls if this summary differs from it.
